Rosette Nebula

This is 2.5 hours of the central part of this large cluster surrounded by nebulosity. This image is an LRGB, and no h-alpha filter was used. On subsequent nights, I'll add more data, hoping for a total of about 8 hours. This image was taken January 7, 2009 with the Hyperion Astrograph, the STL11000m camera on A Paramount ME platform. You can find a wide field image I did of this object using the Takahashi FSQ106 in the Nebula and Clusters section of the web site.
