SH2-150 in Cepheus is a very faint emission and reflection nebula. This image shows just a portion of the object. The emission nebula glows red from the hydrogen gas which is excited by radiation and glows. The emission nebula is less obvious, but it is the blue area at the upper right illuminated by the nearby bright star. This is 15.5 hours of exposure taken October 19-23, 2011.
