NGC6992-Veil Nebula

This is the eastern part of a complex of nebulae that are the remnants of an exploding star. The Veil is 1500 light years away. The red parts are glowing hydrogen, while tinges of green and blue represent oxygen. This is a 120 minute exposure through a hydrogen-alpha filter and 1 hour with RGB filters.
