NGC7380 is an emission nebula in the constellation of Cepheus. It is about 10,000 light years away. This image, taken November 3 and 4, is a 5 hour exposure using a hydrogen-alpha filter and RGB filters. On the left side of the image there are fewer stars because of the obscuring effects of dark gas clouds. Like all the images in my collection, you can click on it to view it at full scale.
