This is my first try at narrowband imaging with a new SBIG camera. This imaging method is most useful with nebulae and gives added boost to the fine detail in the object. This image uses the Hubble Space Telescope palette, with SII assigned to red, h-alpha to green, and OIII to blue. The colors are somewhat arbitrary. This image was taken over 4 nights, March 9-10 and March 20 and 21, 2015 in fair sky conditions. It’s a 9 hour exposure but it probably needs about double that to finish the image. I’ve tried to keep the star colors natural during my processing workflow.
