3 galaxies all within less than 1 degree of each other makes for a compelling sight. The bottom galaxy is M66. At the left is M65, and at the top right is NGC3638. This group of galaxies is about 35 million light years away. This image was taken with my old camera, a SBIG ST2000. It is a 44 minute exposure through a clear filter and 96 minutes through the color filters. Telescope is a Takahashi FSQ-106 on a Paramount ME german equatorial mount.
